Many have predicted that 21st century will come to be known as "the century of the environment." Such a statement makes sense because the government and individual citizens can no longer assume that environmental challenges like pollution, dwindling resources and global warming can be set aside for the next generation. By establishing new policy, incentives, education and research methods, the government can cultivate a greener future community by community.

Environtron is dedicated to providing green technology education and resources to all. Once businesses and individuals become aware of the value of sustainable economies, we will be able to sustain our planet while also enhancing our quality of life. Though the ability to enact new policies rests in the hands of the government, change begins at a grass roots level.

Two of Envirotron's founding principles include the Ecological Footprint & Sustainable Development, two concepts that go hand-in-hand. "Ecological Footprint" compares an individual's amount of resources consumed relative to the planet's available resources. It may seem obvious, but many people do not realize that by reducing the amount of resources consumed, one also reduces the need for resources. By analyzing an Ecological Footprint, it becomes obvious that all resources are finite.

Like the concept of an "Ecological Footprint," "Sustainable Development" attempts to establish new methods for humanity to live in greater harmony with the environment. Sustainability means looking for new ways to recycle, reduce & reuse in order to promote responsible use of our resources. Not only will this help us preserve our limited resources, but help us decide which energies and green technologies to invest in for the future.
